I visited the church about 6 or 7 years ago a few times and was aliitle shocked that during most of worship people stayed seated. When I had visited the church in the everett location people stood and lifted their hands. I have jokingly called it the "sit down church" throughout the past few years. I decided to visit again a few months ago, thinking time has gone by and it may be different., The pastor was new, and different worship team; message good, and worship songs good. But everyone still sat throughout most,....I mean all of the songs except 2. it confuses me. It is always better to stand when singing for position and lungs alone.,and especially when praising and worshiping God. I am just disappointed in the lack of praise and worship in churches today.

  • Friendly and welcoming church. Wonderful, biblically sound sermons, and great staff. I can't speak for the Upper Room, and I personally would want my teenagers in service with me if my kids were that old, but the youth pastor gave a message in the main sanctuary that I heard and it was done well and engaging. I'm still a bit new here, but I've been loving it.
